Coordination of Inner and Outer Activities
The site is located in Art Street, Taichung, where commercial activities and residential areas meet. As the gathering place of the residents and tourists, sidewalk is incorporated into the building in order to engage people from both inside and outside the building into the public operating space; at the same time, it connects the separated co-living space and co-working office, therefore creating common space between them.
At this point, the meaning of "sharing" is not limited to only living space or working space, but extends to the public, letting everyone be able to make use of this architecture.
