Starting from the discussion of the type of residence, thinking about the same essence as residence, but the nature of home and hotel are quite different. Home is built on the family relationship between people, and restaurants only need to meet physical needs. Therefore, homes are more than hotel by constructed a spiritual relationship, stretched into the imagination of space. I think the hotel is a type of residence to the outside world, such as traveling, business trip, etc., leaving the living space generated by the home, and the home is all the distance away. At the end, you need to return to your original home after the trip, and the same is true for a business trip.
When I entered the design, I brought into the idea of double layer. I used the hotel as the outer layer of the residence, and the residence is the protected inner layer, and the outer layer has permeability, so that the inner layer of the residence is not a closed space.
