Building a Tiny Box_Theater & Gym
Theaters have two meanings where a place for performance activities and physical theater. As part of the urban process, it creates urban experiences, the city itself, and even becomes the image of cities or the medium of national identity.
In the design, people on the first floor strolled around the base. When people cross the base, the boundaries between sporty people, performers, and audiences are obscure due to the variation of the slope. They all seem they could see or hear part of each other. Compared with the repetitive behaviors of people and vehicles outside the base, people have multiple feelings entering the box. Some spaces could be connected at the same time, such as the yoga classroom and rehearsal field on the ground or the inner and outer stages. Finally, people could gather together and share cultural experiences through the exhibition.
