The base is located in the old settlement of Wuqi, which consists of traditional three-sided courtyards. The residents are mainly divided into three types, namely the elderly who live on agriculture, foreign workers engaged in industrial production, and Shanshui resident students with special education.
The observation of the site in the early stage found that the special evolution of the Sanheyuan caused by the sub-leasing. In the later stage, the spatial characteristics generated by different types of courtyards were used as a cut-in. Translation, to create a public space that conforms to the local texture, open and redefined "Cheng".
