Par(k)liament

We think the future Taiwanese parliament should integrate within citizens’ everyday life.
Facing the urban streets, installing shops, restaurants, allowing citizens to interact with the parliament. And using various landscape elements to guide the public from the riverside park to the parliament. Then, ensuring the safety of the politicians, opening up the roof of the library, allowing protests, assembly to take place.
Above the public plaza/library are the: administration offices, representative laboratories, chamber of assembly, and miscellaneous offices.
Administration offices are at the forefront between politicians and the public, opening the offices and breaking up their offices, allowing public organizations to intervene, influence policies.
Representative laboratories are the backbones of law creation. By installing a “Conference Arena” into the center of the labs, creates monitored and unmonitored conference space.
The chamber of assembly is the stage for democracy, a sphere to symbolize significance and the equality of justice. Interweaving of the formal and informal space creating a transparent parliament.
Three each to its own, creating a chain of law-making procedure, with the participation, surveillance of the public.
