Intervention and Mix
In the public space, when the target group is the residence of the faculty and staff dormitory area, there is a new level of definition between public and private. , The public is transformed into a meeting space used by the full-faculty dormitory area, which separates public and controlled spaces from the residents within the original design. Therefore, I use the original five-meter height difference (east-west) of the base to make the distinction between public and private. Layer, and cut this public circulation into the base, staggered with the residential planning of the whole district, as the main axis of the overall configuration.
In the planning of residences and activities, through the arrangement of circulation and outdoor activity areas, going back home can be related to the community. The configuration of each unit is mixed, so that there can be more life between different families. In this way, residents don’t need to go to the large gathering space, but the green space and benches near the door of the home, that is, they can interact and chat with their neighbors and form a closer neighborhood relationship.
